Located right in front of the 雪の大谷 snow gorge, and next to the 室堂 Murudo Terminal, the highest point on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.  The route between Tateyama station & Ogisawa station is closed to all private cars year-round, so you would need to use the Alpine Route transportation system.
