Comments:
We walked in at around 8:30pm on a Sunday night and there was a little bit of a queue but we only had to wait for around 10 mins to get a table.
This seemed quite an authentic thai place with what seemed to be all Thai kitchen & waiting staff, but with more of a modern but casual influence in style instead of the traditional type thai restaurants.
walk-in customers conveniently write their own name on the board themselves and wait to be called
we got the best table for a group of five upstairs in the corner overlooking the entrance & open kitchen
watching all the action in the kitchen
curious about the x-shaped fried stuff, we asked our waiter what this was this was - fried breadsticks (from dessert menu) - he advised to order it first as its a popular item that gets sold out
Par Thong Go (dessert) - fried breadsticks with custard - its the green custard that makes this so yummy! Definitely a must order here.
Kanom Jeeb (entree) - tastes kind of like Chinese pork siu mai but not as good
Som Tum Thai - papaya salad
Pad Thai Gai - rice noodles
Panang Salmon - curry salmon
Durian with sticky rice (dessert)
Mango with sticky rice (dessert)
downstairs seating by the entrance - seems cosy for groups of two
upstairs seating - almost closing time...
