Comments:
This is a very popular Malaysian joint for locals in the neighbourhood. Luckily we got here for an early dinner but it soon became packed on a Wednesday night.
Great place for families and large groups to come as the portions (and plates) are huge and the menu has a fair variety to choose from.
Food in general was quite good and pretty much enjoyed all the dishes we ordered (but especially liked the Belachan Snow Beans). Although desserts weren't so much the type that we liked but was good to try.
There is another branch in Prahran on Chapel Street, and from a notice that was posted on the table, they are yet to open a couple more branches in Melbourne...seems like they are doing quite well...
seafood laksa
roti chanai with curry chicken
belachan snow bean - yum!
baba and nonya special homemade coconut sauce prawns on rice
indo style nasi goreng
marmite sauce lamb steak on rice with spring roll
coconut juice
dessert - 'ketayap' - a pandan flavoured crepe filled with shredded coconut cooked with palm sugar
dessert - 'bubur cha-cha' - a sweet coconut based dessert with a combination of yam/taro & sweet potatoes

Comments:
Pho is good but soup broth is a bit heavy on the MSG. Chilli oil was the plus. Service was not impressive though as they seemed a little impatient.
Beef special pho AUD9.00
Rice paper rolls with prawn & pork AUD8.00
